Roland G. and Iva M. Ware Scholarship Fund

Established in 2009 to support Bowdoin undergraduate students with preference for one student from each category: (1) student who graduated from a high school in Rockland, Knox County, Maine, (2) Student who graduated from a high school in a Province of Canada, (3) Student who graduated from a Gymnasium in Essen, Germany, or are nominated by Essen University, of Essen, Germany. If money left then from (1) above, may be one who graduated from any high school in Knox County, Maine, then any student who graduated from any high school in Maine. Addendum: (1) above modified to a public high school providing secondary education to residents of Rockland, Maine, whether or not that school is located in Rockland.
